Your site is pretty interesting to me and your topics are very relevant. I was browsing around and came across something you might find interesting. I was guilty of 3 of them with my sites. "99% of site owners are guilty of these 5 mistakes". http://tinyurl.com/7dtdnz9 You will be suprised how simple they are to fix.

Absolutely! "Lose It!" has been my tool of choice for tracking calories and exercise. I recommend it to anyone with an iPhone who wants an easy and fun way to track what they're eating.

Awesome work so far! Another benchmark down, only a couple more to go (190, then the goal.) I'll bet you'll find it hard to stop there. Also a special shout out is due "LoseIt", the little tool that makes it fun to track what you eat. :)

I think I will set a no seconds rule, too. I've been doing that anyway for the last two months, so I may as well not make an exception here. I definitely plan to start with salad, I think that's one of the best ideas I read in researching this post.

Pretty much the way I handle holiday meals, but I have set a goal of only one plate of food - no seconds. Just avoiding the seconds makes a huge difference, not just in calories, but in how I feel for the next 8 hours after eating. One big thing that I think deserves an extra mention is having a large salad to start with. I am amazed at how much less I eat when I have that huge pile of lettuce first - just don't drown it in high-cal dressing!
